They’re Not Pretty, but They’re Good

I’m not a baker, as a matter of fact, I HATE baking. It is an ironic pairing that I was in the mood for fresh-baked cookies.  So I sucked it up, tied on my apron, and tried it out.  Now don’t be turned off by the pictures, because well… there ugly, but the cookie tastes amazing.  Which I think beats out what they look like every day.  This cookie is easy, and a great simple fix for those “fresh cookie” cravings.

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg

How to:

  1. first combine softened butter and the sugars together, mixing with a beater until smooth
  2. then add the vanilla and egg. mixing well
  3. before you add the flour, baking soda and salt, sift them. then add them to the batter and mix
  4. then add chocolate chips and cranberries
  5. then let sit in the fridge for about 1/2 an hour
  6. grease a cookie sheet then scoop about 1 tablespoon of batter
  7. let bake for about 15 minutes, until golden but still soft
  8. and eat while warm!
